FIELD INCIDENT REPORT: 26-METAPHYSICAL
CLASSIFICATION: CRITICAL / QUARANTINE ORDER
DATE: March 28, 2026
LOCATION: Sector 8 (Unmapped "Deep Zone")
REPORTING OFFICER: Sr. Surveyor H. Dao
At 08:00 hours, Survey Team Echo-5 deployed to Sector 8 with Assets Luca and Wulfsige assigned as protection detail. Standard deep-zone protocol. No unusual sensor data prior to deployment.
At 10:45, the team breached a drywall partition and entered a vast, cathedral-like space with dark charred wood paneling.
Transcript — Body Cam E5-Lead:
Wulfsige: (voice strained) "Don't look at the corners. Dao — tell them not to look at the corners."
Luca: "It's not... it's not alive. It's— WE LEAVE. NOW. EVERYONE OUT."
The Assets physically herded the team back through the breach point. Wulfsige reportedly threw a technician bodily into the corridor to accelerate his exit. The team sealed the partition behind them.
Both Assets declined formal debrief for approximately four hours. When Wulfsige finally submitted a statement, it read in full:
"It wasn't a monster, sir. Monsters breathe. That thing was hateful. It was just pure hate — looking at us. Dogs know. We always know."
Timestamp: 14:00 hours.
Remote sensors captured a catastrophic event. A secondary Threshold opened spontaneously within the wall of Room 8-B — not through a door or a gap, but through the solid material of the wall itself.
The Security Officer on monitor duty logged the following:
"It looked like the wall just melted. But there was fire behind it. And something was standing in the rift. It looked like a demon. It looked right at the camera."
At 14:03, all telemetry from Sector 8 ceased. Cameras, thermal sensors, and acoustic monitors simultaneously returned null data.
PROTOCOL 'BLACKOUT' INITIATED.
Sector 8 access suspended pending Command review.
End of Report.
