I. SITUATION OVERVIEW

Following the total failure of remote monitoring systems in Sector 8, Command authorized a high-risk manual reconnaissance mission. All cameras and thermal sensors in the zone ceased transmission following the March 28 event. We are going in dark.

II. SITE ARRIVAL — THE "SILENT ZONE"

Upon arriving at Room 8-B, the team did not find a battlefield. They found a graveyard of physics.

The "Cathedral" illusion was gone. The room had reverted to standard mono-yellow wallpaper — but the material was brittle and grey, drained of color as though the pigment itself had been consumed.

Both Assets entered first. Instead of the defensive hackle-raise documented in Report 01, they appeared confused. They sniffed the air repeatedly.

Luca: "They're gone. It smells like burnt ozone. Like lightning struck right here."

Wulfsige: "The door is shut. I don't mean the physical door. I mean their door. It collapsed."

III. SCIENTIFIC ANALYSIS — THE "BIO-ANCHOR" HYPOTHESIS

Quantum field measurements taken by Science Team Alpha revealed a startling result: the background radiation of Room 8-B was significantly lower than the rest of the Complex — not elevated, as one might expect from a dimensional incursion site, but depleted.

Physics Division has formulated the following hypothesis to explain the collapse of the Intruder portal:

  1. The Nature of the Hybrids: Unit Gemini possesses no supernatural ability to banish entities. They are, fundamentally, Earth Biology — composed of human and wolf matter that is inextricably tethered to Base Reality.
  2. The Synthetic Buffer: The Backrooms is a synthetic reality — a bridge between dimensional states where physics are fluid and negotiable. The Intruders can exist here because the rules are not fixed.
  3. The Collapse Mechanism: The moment a living organism anchored to Base Reality physically entered the Intruders' projected space, a catastrophic compatibility error occurred. Our reality is "Real." Their reality is "Inverse." When Real Matter contacted Projected Matter, the result was analogous to matter-antimatter annihilation at the quantum level. This caused the wall-melt effect visible on the March 28 feeds. The Assets didn't fight them. Their mere existence as living organisms from Earth poisoned the localized environment.

IV. EXTRAPOLATION — THE "GHOST" CONNECTION

Dr. Vance has proposed a radical theory connecting this event to terrestrial supernatural phenomena.

These entities are likely the source of what humanity classifies as hauntings and possession events. On Earth, Base Reality's tether is too strong — they can interact only minimally: cold spots, displaced objects, auditory artifacts. The Backrooms acts as an amplifier, allowing full manifestation. However, they appear to have underestimated the toxicity of Earth Consciousness when confronted directly by an organism built from it.

V. CONCLUSION & WARNING

The immediate threat in Sector 8 is neutralized. The implications are not reassuring.

  1. We Are Toxic: Our existence is poisonous to them — but this interaction has provided them with data. They now know what burns them.
  2. Evolution of Tactics: We must assume the next incursion will be adapted to withstand contact with Base Reality matter. They have been exposed. They will prepare.
  3. Vigilance: Unit Gemini are not magical wards. They are the tip of the spear of Earth's reality. That tip is effective — until the enemy learns to blunt it.

Action Item: Sector 8 remains sealed. Research must pivot immediately to understanding how to protect our personnel if and when the Intruders adapt to our bio-signature.
