OBSERVATION REPORT: ASSET INTERACTION & INTEGRATION
CLASSIFICATION: RESTRICTED (Level 4 Clearance)
DATE: March 2, 2026
LOCATION: Recovery Ward B / Gamma Sector Common Room
SUBJECT: Asset "Luca" (A-992-L) regarding New Asset "Wulfsige" (formerly Employee 79)
REPORTING OFFICER: Dr. Aris Thorne, Lead Xenobiologist
At 08:00 hours yesterday, Project "Geminus" was concluded. The controlled biological merge of Volunteer Employee 79 and the biological matter of the Mackenzie Valley Wolf ("Kodiak") was a complete success.
Unlike the chaotic event that created Asset Luca, this procedure was regulated by the Aegis Medical Division. The resulting entity, designated "Wulfsige," retained a significant portion of his pre-merge memory and personality.
Physical Metrics (Wulfsige):
Present: Dr. Thorne, Medical Staff, Asset Luca.
Luca was positioned in the recovery room as requested to act as a stabilizing agent. When Wulfsige regained consciousness, the immediate panic response observed in Luca's original case was absent.
Transcript:
Wulfsige: (Groggily sits up. Rubs face with furred hands. Blinks.) "It... it worked?"
Luca: (Steps forward slowly, hands raised, ears forward.) "It worked. You're okay. Don't move too fast; the tail throws your balance off."
Wulfsige: (Looks at Luca, then down at his own chest.) "I feel... heavy. But good. Strong." (He takes a deep breath, flaring his nostrils.) "I can smell the iodine in the hallway. And... coffee? Someone has hazelnut coffee?"
Luca: (Grinning, tail wagging reflexively.) "Dr. Vance. She hides it in her desk."
Luca expressed visible relief and surprise at Wulfsige's immediate cognitive stability. In the post-contact debriefing, Luca noted:
"I was ready to catch him, you know? I thought he'd be screaming or scared like I was. But he just... fit. It's like he was wearing a costume his whole life and finally took it off. He told me he always felt like a wolf at heart. I think his brain was ready for the hardware upgrade."
The Bond Phenomenon:
The rapport between Luca and Wulfsige was instantaneous and exceeds standard human social bonding parameters.
Despite retaining selected human memories, Wulfsige exhibits the same heightened tactile needs as Luca.
Luca has formally requested that Wulfsige be bunked in the adjacent quarters to establish a "Pack Den" dynamic.
"He's fast, he's strong, and he remembers how to drive a car. I think we're going to be just fine. You guys don't need to worry about him. He's exactly where he's supposed to be."
Conclusion:
The integration of Wulfsige has had a net positive effect on Asset Luca's morale. The "Pack" is now a reality. We are witnessing the formation of a highly efficient, symbiotic biological unit within the Aegis workforce.
End of Report.
