**PACK OBSERVATION REPORT 16: LOCOMOTION & FORMATION MOVEMENTS**
**SUBJECTS:** Unit Gemini
**OBSERVER:** Security Chief Miller
***
### **I. THE "LIQUID" WALK**
Standard Aegis Security teams move in rigid formation (2x2 or single file). They march.
Unit Gemini does not march. They "flow."
* **Observation:** When moving down a crowded hallway, they do not collide with staff, nor do they stop. They adjust their speed and trajectory fluidly, slipping through gaps in the crowd like water.
* **The Silence:** dispite his weight (Wulfsige is 200+ lbs), he moves silently. His plantigrade feet roll heel-to-toe with a softness that standard combat boots usually prevent.
### **II. THE "SCOUT & ANCHOR" FORMATION**
Even when off-duty (walking to the mess hall), they subconsciously adopt a tactical predator formation.
**1. Luca (The Outrider/Scout):**
* **Position:** 10 feet ahead of Wulfsige.
* **Behavior:** Luca checks corners. He glances into open doorways. He is the "eyes" of the unit. He is bouncy, energetic, and reactive.
**2. Wulfsige (The Anchor/Core):**
* **Position:** Center-lane, steady pace.
* **Behavior:** Wulfsige does not look around. He looks straight ahead. He trusts Luca to see the threats. Wulfsige’s job is to be the "Heavy Response" if Luca finds something.
### **III. PASSIVE HERDING**
A fascinating phenomenon occurs when they encounter a blockage (e.g., a group of scientists chatting in the hall).
* **The Act:** They do not ask people to move. They simply walk *through* the group.
* **The Reaction:** People subconsciously part ways. Wulfsige’s sheer presence and forward momentum trigger a primal "Step Aside" instinct in humans.
* **Luca’s Role:** If someone doesn't move, Luca will gently nudge them with his shoulder—a "hip check" used by herding dogs—to guide them out of Wulfsige’s path.
**Conclusion:**
They are efficient. They do not waste energy on stopping and starting. They simply navigate the environment as if the obstacles (people) are part of the terrain.
**End of Report.**
