**PACK OBSERVATION REPORT 07: ALLOGROOMING & UNIFORM STANDARDS**
**SUBJECTS:** Unit Gemini
**OBSERVER:** Cpt. Miller (Pre-Inspection Log)
***
### **I. THE INSPECTION PREP**
Before the monthly Admiral’s Inspection, all Security personnel are required to present immaculate uniforms.
For humans, this involves mirrors and lint rollers.
For Unit Gemini, it triggers **Allogrooming** (Social Grooming).
**The Ritual:**
In the locker room, Wulfsige and Luca assist each other.
* **Wulfsige:** He is meticulous. He adjusts Luca’s collar, straightens his tactical vest, and checks for loose fur on the dark fabric.
* **Luca:** He checks Wulfsige’s back (the blind spot).
### **II. THE "PICKING" BEHAVIOR**
What makes this unique is the tactile nature of the help.
* **Observation:** If Wulfsige sees a piece of lint or a stray hair on Luca’s shoulder, he doesn't brush it off with a hand. He picks it off with his fingers, almost like a primate grooming a peer, or... occasionally... he will use his nose to nudge a collar flap down.
* **The Bond:** This is intimate behavior. In wolf packs, grooming reinforces the bond and reduces stress. By fixing each other’s uniforms, they are essentially saying, *"You are part of me. If you look good, the pack looks good."*
### **III. BOUNDARIES WITH HUMANS**
This behavior is strictly internal to the Unit.
* **Contrast:** If a human soldier has a crooked collar, Wulfsige will verbally tell them: *"Fix your collar, Private."* He will not touch them.
* **With Luca:** Wulfsige fixes it *for* him without saying a word.
### **IV. THE RESULT**
Unit Gemini consistently scores the highest marks for uniform presentation.
* **Irony:** Despite shedding constantly, they are the cleanest soldiers in the formation. Their biological need to keep the "pack coat" clean translates perfectly into military discipline.
* **Human Element:** They use standard lint rollers (they go through 3 a week), proving they understand modern tools are more efficient than tongues.
**End of Report.**
